Track Results — Full Model and Report Graphs

In all thermal and flow solutions, you can display the following graphs during the solve that track thermal and flow results on the complete model:

  • For thermal and coupled steady state solutions, the solid temperature as a function of the iterations.

  • For thermal and coupled transient solutions, the solid temperature as a function of time.

  • For flow and coupled steady state solutions, the fluid temperature, the fluid velocity, and the fluid pressure as a function of the iterations.

  • For a flow and coupled transient solution, the solid temperature, the fluid temperature, the fluid velocity, and the fluid pressure as a function of time.

Note:

When you use the parallel flow solver, you can also display track results during solve graphs for scalar flow equations, including humidity and turbulence if they are modeled in the solution.

For each thermal and flow quantity, the graphs display the maximum, minimum, and average nodal values.

Solid temperature as a function of iterations Fluid temperature as a function of iterations
Fluid velocity as a function of iterations Fluid pressure as a function of iterations

After the solve, the software saves the graphs and raw data in the run directory. The graphs are saved in the PNG format. The raw data are saved in the CSV format.
