Simulation Label Manager dialog box

Type
Offset type list Specifies how automatic label offsets are applied to different labeled entities:Same Offsets in Simulation — The offset is the same for coordinate systems, physical properties, and groups. The software calculates the highest-needed offset and applies it uniformly to all offsets within the Simulation file. One value is used for Offset to Nearest. Same Nearest Value for All — The offset is calculated independently for coordinate systems, physical properties, and groups. One value is used for Offset to Nearest. Separate Nearest Value for All — Lets you specify different Offset to Nearest values for coordinate systems, physical properties, and groups. Compress Labels — The labels for coordinate systems, physical properties, and groups in the Simulation file are renumbered, starting with the next integer available above the label range of the associated FEM. The automatic label resolution action is applied immediately when you select this option.
Automatic Label Resolution
For each type of offset, you can select an order of magnitude from 1–100000. For example, if the range of labels for coordinate systems in your Simulation file is 1–15, and the range in the assembly FEM is 12–165, when you select 100 as the Offset to Nearest, each coordinate system label in the simulation receives an offset of 200.
Offset to Nearest Appears when the offset type is Same Offsets in Simulation or Same Nearest Value for All.Applies the specified offset to coordinate systems, physical properties, and groups.
CSYS Offset to Nearest Appears when the offset type is Separate Nearest Value for All. Applies the specified offset to coordinate systems only.
PID Offset to Nearest Appears when the offset type is Separate Nearest Value for All. Applies the specified offset to physical property IDs only.
Group Offset to Nearest Appears when the offset type is Separate Nearest Value for All. Applies the specified offset to groups only.
Automatically Resolve Automatically resolves node, element, and coordinate system labels, using the specified offset type and value.
Labels
The following options appear on the Coordinate Systems, Physical Properties, and Groups tabs.
Component Displays the Simulation file name and the FEM or assembly FEM name.
Range Displays the range of entity labels for each component. Click each tab to view the label range for each entity type.
Offset Displays the current offset applied to the entity labels. To edit the offset manually, click in the Offset cell and type a new value or right-click and choose Edit Offset. Click each tab to view the label range for each entity type.
Offset Range Displays the range of entity labels for the Simulation file after the offset is applied. Click each tab to view the label range for each entity type.
Status Indicates whether label conflicts exist for the Simulation file and the FEM or assembly FEM.Valid indicates that no label in this Simulation file conflicts with the FEM or assembly FEM.Conflict indicates that this Simulation file has an offset range for its labels that overlaps with the offset range of the FEM or assembly FEM.Internal Conflict indicates that component FEMs in this assembly FEM have labels that conflict with each other. You can use the Assembly Label Manager command in the context of the assembly FEM to resolve these conflicts.
