Acoustic Results / Panel Contribution / Panel Partial Sum Contribution / Maximum Analysis Frequency dialog box

Data Definition
Input Definition Lets you choose the type of analysis.Response Analysis — Available on the Acoustic Results, Panel Contribution, and Panel Partial Sum Contribution dialog boxes. This analysis contains the acoustic pressure and power responses for the specified excitation frequencies. Waterfall Analysis — Available on the Acoustics Results dialog box. This analysis contains the acoustic pressure and power responses for the specified excitation frequencies and waterfall (RPM) data. Element Validity Analysis — Available on the Maximum Analysis Frequency dialog box. This analysis helps you to validate the maximum element size of the acoustic mesh and microphone mesh according to the maximum frequency defined for the acoustic analysis.
Data Definition Lets you choose the set of data to process from the requested results. The available types are: Acoustics Results dialog boxMicrophone Pressure Frequency SpectraMicrophone Pressure Waterfall of Frequency SpectraMicrophone Pressure Order CutContains the pressure results on the selected microphone mesh nodes for frequency/waterfall of frequency data/order cut data. Acoustic Results, Panel Contribution, and Panel Partial Sum Contribution dialog boxesMicrophone Pressure Panel Contribution Frequency Spectra Microphone Pressure Panel Contribution Waterfall of Frequency Spectra****Microphone Pressure Panel Contribution Order CutContains the pressure contribution results on the defined panels for frequency/waterfall of frequency data/order cut data.Acoustics Results dialog boxMicrophone Power Frequency SpectraMicrophone Power Waterfall of Frequency SpectraMicrophone Acoustic Power Order CutContains the power results on the selected microphone mesh nodes for frequency/waterfall of frequency data/order cut data. Acoustic Results, Panel Contribution, and Panel Partial Sum Contribution dialog boxesMicrophone Power Panel Contribution Frequency SpectraMicrophone Power Panel Waterfall of Frequency SpectraMicrophone Power Panel Contribution Order CutContains the power contribution results on the defined panels for frequency/waterfall of frequency data/order cut data. Maximum Analysis Frequency dialog boxMaximum Analysis Frequency: Contains the maximum analysis frequency result data. The maximum frequency of the analysis determines the element size for the acoustic mesh and microphone mesh.
Visualization Lets you choose the type of visualization. You can plot the following results: Acoustic Results for pressure or power Panel Contribution results for pressure or power Maximum Analysis Frequency results for acoustic or microphone mesh The available plot types are: Color Bars — Available for all data types except for Maximum Analysis Frequency. Depending on the data definition, this plot displays the variation of acoustic or panel contribution results versus the specified frequencies. Color Map — Available for waterfall of frequency data. Depending on the data definition, this plot displays the variation of Acoustics Results or Panel Contribution results versus the specified frequency and RPM values, respectively. Waterfall — Available for waterfall of frequency data. Depending on the data definition, this three-axis plot displays the variation of pressure or power contribution results versus the specified frequency and RPM values. XY PlotFor the Acoustics Results or Panel Contribution scenario type, this plot displays the variation of acoustic or panel contribution results versus the specified frequencies. For the Maximum Analysis Frequency scenario type, this plot displays the percentage ratio of the valid elements versus the computed frequencies. The plot shows the percentage of elements that are valid in the given frequency range. The first frequency on the X-axis represents the frequency value for which 100% of the elements are valid. It is the smallest maximum frequency for all the elements. The last frequency on the X-axis is the largest maximum frequency for all the elements.
Selection
RPM Available for Response Analysis results containing waterfall of frequency data. Lets you select RPM value(s) for which the acoustic or panel contribution results are to be plotted.
Order Number Available for Response Analysis results containing order cut data. Lets you select order number(s) for which the acoustic or panel contribution results are to be plotted.
Subcase Lets you select the data source(s). The subcase defines the loads in the solution.
Microphone Available for pressure results (frequency spectra or waterfall of frequency spectra).Lets you select the microphone Node ID(s) on which the pressure results are to be plotted.
Panel Available for panel contribution results (frequency spectra or waterfall of frequency spectra). Lets you select the panel(s) on which the pressure contributions are to be plotted.
Mesh Available for maximum frequency analysis results. Lets you select the results on the acoustic mesh or microphone mesh. The validation results are available for the defined acoustic mesh and microphone mesh.
Group Available for power results (frequency spectra or waterfall of frequency spectra). Lets you select the microphone mesh group(s) on which power contribution results are to be plotted.
