Create a post view
Create a new post view
If necessary, load results into the Post Processing Navigator. For more information, see Load and unload results.
Create the new post view:To display the first results using a selected color display, in the Post Processing Navigator, right-click a solution node and choose New Post View. Select a color display.For more information about color displays, see Color displays in post views.To display the first results and automatically use the default contour plot color display, in the Post Processing Navigator, double-click a solution node.To display a particular result and use the default contour plot color display, in the Post Processing Navigator, right-click the result or result component node and choose Plot.Note: If only one viewport is displayed, the software replaces the existing post view with the new post view.
Clone an existing post view
Creates a copy of a post view. The cloned post view is saved in the active work layout state as well as any of its display changes.
A layout with more than one viewport must be displayed in the graphics window for the command to be available.
In the Results tab, from the Layout group, select a layout with two or more viewports.
In the Post Processing Navigator, right-click a post view and choose Clone Post View.
In the graphics window, select the post view in which to copy the post view.
