Create a temperature source load for the entire model

You create a temperature source load to apply a specific temperature to the entire model for durability analysis.

  1. Choose Specialist Durability tab→Load Events group→Temperature Source .

  2. In the Name - Description group, in the name box, type a name for the temperature source load.

  3. In the Temperature Distribution group, from the Distribution Method list, select Entire Model.

  4. In the Temperature box, define the temperature magnitude by typing a constant value, or using an expression. For more information, see Using fields and expressions to define boundary conditions.

  5. Click OK.
