| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Defines the name of the physical property table. |
| Label | Defines the unique numeric identifier for the physical property table. |
| Layer Definition | |
| Total Thickness | Specifies the total thickness of the element. |
| Number of Layers | Specifies the number of layers for the associated 2D elements.Note: You must specify an odd number of layers. See Working with multi-layer shell elements for more information. Each layer provides a calculation point for the thermal solver. This allows it to calculate a different temperature for each layer in the element. Each layer has the same thickness and the same material properties. |
