Model articulation

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Solid Motion Effects .

  2. In the Solid Motion Effects dialog box, from the Type list, select Articulation.

  3. Select the elements or geometry which articulate with respect to the rest of the model.

  4. Select a joint from the Joint list to define the translation or rotation of the articulating region, or click Create Modeling Object to create a new Joint type modeling object.

  5. In the Solid Motion Effects dialog box, click OK.

  6. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the Solution dialog box.

  7. In the Solution dialog box, click the Transient Setup node and specify the Articulation Parameters.
