Augmented Time Step List dialog box (Simcenter Nastran/Multiphysics)
| Modeling Object | |
|---|---|
| Name | Specifies the name of the modeling object. |
| Label | Specifies a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object. |
| Properties | |
| Description | Lets you enter a description for the modeling object. |
| Card Name | Indicates that this modeling object corresponds to the TSTEP1 bulk entry. |
| Time Step List | |
| Source Type | Specifies the source for the additional time points. You can import the time points from an external file that contains transient results or from a CSV file, or you can specify them directly. To import the time points from an external results file, select Nastran Results, Simcenter 3D Thermal Results, Abaqus Results, or ANSYS Results. To import the time points from a comma separated value file, select CSV File.To specify a list of unique time values, select Time List.To directly specify time values, the number of increments, and the points at which to output data, select Keyin Text. |
| Results File | Available when Source Type is set to Nastran Results, Simcenter 3D Thermal Results, Abaqus Results, or ANSYS Results.Lets you select the appropriate results file. The software infers and stores the path to the file that you specify relative to the Simulation file. If the location of the file changes, the software uses the stored relative path information to try to locate the file. For more information, see Relative path support for external files. |
| Time List | Available when Source Type is set to Time List.Lets you specify the additional time values.Specify one or more unique time values that are greater then 0.0. |
| CSV File****Keyin Text | Available when Source Type is set to CSV File or Keyin Text.Lets you specify the CSV file that contains the data, or lets you enter the data in the Keyin Text box.For both CSV files and data in the Keyin Text box, the format of the data must be the end time (TEND), the number of increments (NINC), and the points at which to output data (NOUT), where you separate the data with a comma, tab, or space.TEND is the end time (real number ≥ 0)TINC is the number of increments (integer >0)NOUT specifies when the software should output data. You can enter any of these values:YES to output at each increment.END to output at the solution step end time.ALL to output at all solution times. An integer ≥ 0 to define a skip factor. |
| Number of Increments | Lets you specify a number of increments, if you want to subdivide the additional time points. |
| Output Flag | Lets you specify at what point the solver should output data (for example, at the solution step end time or at each time step increment). To output data at the specified increments, select Requested Increments. To output data at the end of the step, select Solution Step End Time.To output data at all solution times, select All Times. To define the interval between points at which the software outputs data, select Skip Factor. |
| Skip Factor | Available when Output Flag is set to Skip Factor.Specifies the interval between the points at which the software outputs data. |
