Surface Dipole dialog box

Name
Name Sets the name of the surface dipole.
Description Sets a description for the distributed surface dipole.
Destination Folder
Load Container Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the boundary condition will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. Examples of a root container include Load Container, Constraint Container, and Simulation Object Container. To view a hierarchical list of existing folders, click Folder Manager . To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder.
Element Faces
Group Reference Lets you apply the boundary condition to a group. For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object Note: The graphic varies by Type. Lets you select the geometry or FE entities on which the boundary condition will be applied.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.
Excluded Lets you remove individual entities from within the selected object.
Data source
Select File Lets you enter the path to an sc_h5 (*.sc_h5) file in HDF5 format.
Subcase Lets you control the specification of a subcase in the result file. From Solution StepUses the subcase ID from the active solution step.SpecifyWhen you select this option, the Subcase ID option appears.
Subcase ID Appears when Subcase is set to Specify.Lets you enter a specific subcase ID.
Data Set Displays the data set.
Infer Data Set Infers the Data Set and populates it to the Data Set field.
Surface Dipole Parameters Specifies a surface dipole parameters modeling object.Select an existing modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new modeling object.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object.Click More Options to search and filter parameters modeling objects. The following options are available.FindLets you search for an object by entering the full name of the object. For example, to find a region named ABC_region, type ABC_region in the search box and press Enter or click Find . If the object is found, it will be selected automatically.Filter by NameLets you filter the list by the names of the objects. This filter supports wildcards. The default wildcard is the asterisk (), and it displays all entries in the list. For example, to filter the list to display every object with a name starting with the letter "a," enter a as the filter string.Filter by LabelLets you filter the list by the label of the objects.
