Split Face dialog box
Split face by points
| Split face by points | Lets you divide a polygon face by selecting two points. The software creates a new polygon edge between those points that divides the face. |

| Select start location on Edge | Lets you select the first point to create the new polygon edge. |
| Select end location on Edge | Lets you select the second point to create the new polygon edge. |
Split face by suppressed edges
| Split face by suppressed edges | Lets you split a polygon face by restoring an edge that was previously removed by another abstraction command or process. |

| Suppressed Edges | Lets you select the edge to restore. |
Split face by facet edges
| Split face by facet edges | Lets you divide a polygon face using the edge of a temporary facet. |

| Select Polygon Face | Lets you select the polygon face to divide. |
| Select Facet Edge | Lets you select the facet edge or edges to use to divide the face. The software creates a new polygon edge along the edge of the facet.Note: The edge or edges that you select must touch the boundary of the face in two locations. |
| Facet Edge Feature Angle | Lets you specify the maximum allowable angle between facets. |
