Joint-Orbital Tracker
Use a Joint-Orbital Tracker type modeling object to characterize the rotation of selected elements about defined orbits. You use a Joint-Orbital Tracker type modeling object in conjunction with an Articulation simulation object to simulate the transient radiative heat exchange induced by the motion of mechanized assemblies. For more information, see Solid Motion Effects.
You can:
Define the rotation using a vector that is orbit dependent. Once you define the vector, you can apply the joint to all active orbits in your analysis or you can apply it to a specific orbit using Orbit type modeling object. For more information, see Orbit.
Model compound articulation using the options in the Parent Joint group in the Joint dialog box.
