Durability Simulation Objects dialog box

Parameter List
Simulation object list Filters the list of simulation objects in the Parameters group.Library ParametersLists the simulation objects according to the options you select in the Libraries group.Local ParametersLists the simulation objects that are saved in the Simulation file.
Libraries
Available when the Parameter List is set to Library Parameters.
Default Parameter Library Lists the simulation object definitions included in the default simulation object library.
Site Parameter Library Lists the simulation object definitions included in the site custom simulation object library XML file that you can choose using the Browse command.
User Parameter Library Lists the simulation object definitions included in the user custom simulation object library XML file that you can choose using the Browse command.
Parameters
Lists the durability simulation objects. To sort the list, click a column heading. The list has the following columns:NameDisplays the name of the simulation object.UsedIndicates if the simulation object is used. The simulation object is used in the model. The simulation object is available in the local Simulation file, but it is not used.CategoryDisplays the simulation object category.TypeDisplays the simulation object type.LabelDisplays the simulation object label.LocationAvailable for local simulation objects.Displays the Simulation file name in which the simulation object is saved.LibraryDisplays the name of the library file in which the simulation object definition is saved. When you right-click a simulation object, the following commands appear:InformationOpens an Information window that lists the simulation object properties.InspectLets you view a simulation object record in the corresponding simulation object dialog box. For more information, see Specialist Durability simulation object dialog boxes. Simulation object properties are read-only.CopyOpens the corresponding simulation object dialog box that lets you create a copy of the selected simulation object and saves it to the Simulation file. For more information, see Specialist Durability simulation object dialog boxes.EditOpens the corresponding simulation object dialog box that lets you modify the local simulation object properties. For more information, see Specialist Durability simulation object dialog boxes. You cannot edit the properties of a library simulation object, unless you copy it and edit the copy.Configure Library ParameterCurrently, you cannot configure library simulation objects. RenameLets you rename a local simulation object. You cannot rename a library simulation object, unless you copy it and rename the copy.Re-labelLets you change the label of the local simulation object.Show UsagesAvailable for simulation objects that are used in the model.Opens an Information window that indicates where the simulation object is used. Update ParameterSynchronizes the local simulation object with its corresponding library simulation object definition. When you load a simulation object into the model and later make changes to the corresponding library simulation object definition, the loaded, local simulation object becomes out of date. This command updates the local simulation object with the latest version of its library definition. When you create a simulation object by copying another simulation object (such as a library definition), and then you change a property in the parent simulation object, that property in the copied simulation object is not automatically updated. In this case, you can use the Update Parameter command to update the copied simulation object to match the parent simulation object.Load Library ParameterLoads a simulation object definition from the simulation object library into the local Simulation file. DeleteDeletes the local simulation object from the Local Parameters list. You cannot delete a simulation object that is used.
New Parameter
Type Lets you select the type of simulation object to create.
Create Lets you create a new simulation object using the Create Parameter command. When you click this command, the corresponding simulation object type dialog box opens where you can define the simulation object properties. For more information, see Specialist Durability simulation object dialog boxes.
