Stiffness Reduction dialog box
| Name-Description | |

| Name | Sets a unique name for the parameter. |
| Label | Sets a unique integer for the parameter.The dialog box automatically displays the next available label number. However, you might want to change this if you use a particular series of numbers to identify certain types of parameters. |
| Description | Sets a description for the parameter.This description appears in the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box only if you add the Description column to the list table. To do that, right-click the column heading row and choose Columns→Configure. In the Configure Columns dialog box, select the Description check box and then click OK. |

| Category | Sets the category name for this parameter. |
| Sub-Category | Sets the subcategory name for this parameter.The subcategory appears in the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box only if you add the Sub-Category column to the list table. |
| Stiffness Reduction | |
| Method | Specifies the method to use to reduce the stiffness.No ReductionPerforms no stiffness reduction.Main DirectionsReduces the stiffness in the main directions.Project to Main DirectionsReduces the stiffness by projecting the damaging direction to the main directions and taking the maximum value for each of the directions. |
| Minimum Damage | Appears when Method is set to Main Directions or Project to Main Directions.Sets the minimal damage to apply stiffness reduction as defined. |
| Maximum Stiffness Reduction | Appears when Method is set to Main Directions or Project to Main Directions.Set the maximum allowed stiffness reduction.This value must be between 0 and 1. |
