Laminate Composites > Creating a global layup
Create ply extensions
This example shows you how to extend plies from the vertical layup onto the horizontal layup on both the right and left sides of the vertical rib. The horizontal layup has 3 plies.
The vertical layup has six plies. Plies 1 and 2 will be extended to create the left clip of the T-joint and plies 5 and 6 will be extended to create the right clip.
