Arc-Length Parameters - Multi-Step Nonlinear dialog box

Modeling Object
Name Defines the name of the modeling object.
Label Specifies a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Properties
Type TYPE field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the arc-length method.
Minimum Arc-Length Adjustment Ratio MINALR field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the minimum allowable arc-length adjustment ratio between increments for the adaptive arc-length method.
Maximum Arc-Length Adjustment Ratio MAXALR field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the maximum allowable arc-length adjustment ratio between increments for the adaptive arc-length method.
Bound on Load Increment/Arc-Length Ratio MAXR field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the overall upper and lower bounds on the load increment /arc-length in the subcase.
Scale Factor for Loading SCALE field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Scale factor for controlling the loading contribution in the arc-length constraint.
Desired Number of Iterations DESITER field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the desired number of iterations for convergence to use for the adaptive arc-length adjustment.
Maximum Increments MXINC field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the maximum number of controlled load increments done in the arc-length subcase.
Initial Load Factor LDFACIN field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the load factor that is used to compute the initial arc-length.
Skip Factor for Output NOUTAL field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the skip factor for output of incremental results.
Maximum Load Factor for Solution Termination MXLDFAC field in the NLARCL bulk entry.Lets you specify the maximum value of the load factor at which the solution terminates.
