| Physical Property Table | |
|---|---|
| Name | Defines the name of the physical property table. |
| Label | Defines the unique numeric identifier for the physical property table. |
| Properties | |
| Material | Lets you assign the appropriate material to the associated elements. For structural solutions, you must select an isotropic (MAT1) or an orthotropic (MAT3) material. For heat transfer solutions, you must select an isotropic heat transfer material (MAT4) or an anisotropic heat transfer (MAT5) material.Select a material from the list of materials assigned to the model, or click Choose material to define a new material. |
| Plane Stress Thickness | |
| Default Thickness | Specifies the thickness for the plane stress elements. This option does not apply to plane strain elements. |
| Nonstructural Mass | |
| Nonstructural Mass | Defines the non-structural mass per area for the elements. |
| Advanced | |
| Formulation Option | Lets you specify the element formulation to use.Select Standard Formulation to use the standard element formulation.Select Mean Dilatational to use a mean dilatational formulation for nearly incompressible materials. |
