Contact Edge
Select Edge Lets you select the source edge for the contact definition.
Contact Edge Terminal Points****Start Point/End Point Lets you define the starting and end points (terminal points) along the contact edge.
Target Edge
Select Edge Lets you select the target edge for the contact definition.
Align Target Edge Nodes Controls whether the software aligns the nodes on the source and target edges. If you select Align Target Edge Nodes, select one of the following options to define how to align the nodes on the target edge with the nodes on the source edge:Minimum DistancePositions the nodes on the target edge at a minimum gap tolerance distance from the corresponding nodes on the source edge.Normal to Contact EdgePositions the nodes on the target edge so that they lie in a plane normal to the contact edge at the corresponding nodes.
Target Edge Terminal Points****Start Point/End Point Available if the Align Target Edge Nodes check box is cleared.Lets you define the terminal points for the mesh along the target edge.
Connection Elements
Number of Elements Sets the number of elements to create between the selected edges or between the selected terminal points on those edges.
Element Properties
Type Specifies the type of elements to create.
Destination Collector
Automatic Creation When selected, creates a new destination collector for you using default physical and material properties.
