Thermal fluid flow material properties (Simcenter Samcef)

To define a Simcenter Samcef thermal Fluid flow material, you can define the following Fluid material properties:

  • Mass Density (RHO) (Samcef M parameter).

  • On the Thermal page, Thermal Conductivity (K) (Samcef COND parameter) and Specific Heat (CP) (Samcef CAPA parameter). These properties can depend on the temperature.

  • On the Other Physical properties page, Dynamic Viscosity (Samcef VILI parameter). This property can depend on the temperature.

A .MAT BEHAV "THERMAL" entry is output to the Simcenter Samcef input file.
