Using viscoelastic materials in FEMAO solutions
You can use frequency-dependent structures in a Simcenter 3D vibro-acoustic solution. You can assign frequency-dependent materials at a constant temperature to a structural mesh or to elements. This may be useful in the analysis of aerospace structures, motor mounts, or automotive trim.
To define structural mesh material properties, you create or modify a material using the Simcenter Nastran MAT1/MAT1F property.
