Request output for a modal flexible analysis (ANSYS)
You use an ANSYS Structural Output Requests modeling object to define the solution results for an ANSYS Modal Flexible Body solution.
Choose Home tab→Modeling Object. Set Type to ANSYS Structural Output Requests and click Create. Tip: You can also create a ANSYS Structural Output Requests when creating an ANSYS Modal Flexible Body solution on the Expansion Pass tab of the Solution dialog box.
On the Results Controls tab, select the check boxes for the solution results items you want output.
To define parameters for the output, next to the Group and Output Frequency list that appears below a selected check box, click Create Modeling Object .
In the Output Requests Parameters dialog box, select the nodes or elements for which to output the results items. To output the selected results items for all nodes or elements, click the Apply to all Elements or Nodes check box.To select the nodes or elements for which to output results items, clear the Apply to all Elements or Nodes check box, click Select Elements or Nodes , and drag a selection box around your model until the elements or nodes are selected. Alternatively, click individual nodes or elements in the model.Note: To select only nodes or elements by group, select the Group Reference check box. For more information, see Output Requests Parameters dialog box (ANSYS).
From the How Often the Solution Results are Written list, select at which substeps you want the solver to write the specified solution results item. To specify a time, select Specify value and in the Frequency Value box, type the interval at which you want the solution to be written. To specify a time table, select Use time table and click Create Modeling Object to create a table, or from the Array of Key Times list, select an existing time table. For more information, see Transient Time Table (TSRES) dialog box (ANSYS).
Click OK to close all dialog boxes.
