| Solver | Specifies the solver for the solution. |
| Analysis Type | Specifies the analysis:StructuralRuns a structural analysis using the Simcenter Nastran SOL 401 multistep nonlinear solver.ThermalRuns a thermal analysis using the Simcenter 3D Thermal solver.FlowRuns a CFD analysis using the Simcenter 3D Flow solver.Coupled Thermal-StructuralRuns a two-way coupled analysis using the structural and thermal solvers; the thermal solution affects the structural solution and the structural solution affects the thermal solution.Coupled Flow-StructuralRuns a one-way coupled analysis using the structural and flow solvers; the flow solution affects the structural solution by passing flow pressures at walls.Coupled Thermal-FlowRuns a coupled analysis using the thermal and flow solvers.Coupled Thermal-Flow-StructuralRuns a coupled analysis using the thermal, flow, and structural solvers; the thermal-flow solution affects the structural solution and the structural solution affects the thermal-flow solution.MappingLets you map temperatures from the Thermal solution to a Simcenter Nastran structural solution. |
| 2D Solid Option | Not available for the Flow analysis.Identifies the plane on which you can create axisymmetric elements.
