Refreshing model update and model update set results

Use the Refresh Model Update Results command to update:

• The work and reference modes, and the design variables of the active Model Update solution process. The software automatically computes the errors .

• All constituentModel Update solution processes in the Model Update Set solution process. The design variables are not updated in the Model Update Set solution process. The software automatically computes the errors.

This command is useful when there are changes in the reference or work solution results that are referenced by the Model Update solution process.

Out-of-date indicators

In the Simulation Navigator, under the Model Update node, the following out-of-date indicators appear:

• A results pending icon appears when either the reference or work solution results have changed and need to be reloaded.

• An update icon appears when either the node map, the mode pairing, or the target errors need to be updated.

In the Model Update Set solution process, an update icon appears next to the Errors [#] node when the target errors are need to be updated. An update icon also appears beside constituent Model Update nodes that are out-of-date.
