Model and Load Pre-processing > Create a Fan Noise load and solution
4.Convert the pressure data to fan blade force
Now you will convert the pressure data to discrete forces on the fan blades.
Select Model and Load Pre-Processing, right-click, and choose Solve. The PreSolver will start and depending on the size of the input CFD data file, this may take several minutes.
After the PreSolver has finished the solution, close or cancel all the information windows.
To examine the PreSolver results, and to validate blade segments, blade pressure, or force, you create an XY plot. Select the Model and Load Pre-Processing, right-click, and choose Post-Processing Scenario .
The Scenario Based Data-Visualization dialog box appears. To plot Blade Segments, select Contour Plots→Create Scenario→Model and Load Pre-processing 1→Blade Segments→Plot. To plot the transient force versus time XY plots on the fan blades select Function Plots→Create Scenario. Close the dialog boxes when finished.
Choose Home tab→Context group→Return to Home .
