CCM to CGNS converter

Use the CCM to CGNS converter to convert CCM files (*.ccm) exported from Simcenter STAR-CCM+ to files in CGNS format.

A typical application is to convert Simcenter STAR-CCM+ results for use in Simcenter 3D and with the Model and Load Pre-processing solution process in Simcenter Nastran SOL 108 or SOL 111 solutions to transform the:

• Transient pressure results to loads for aeroacoustic or aero and vibro-acoustic analyses.

• Temperature-dependent acoustic fluid properties to properties for acoustic analyses.

Location

The NX or Simcenter 3D installation process defines the directory that contains the ccmtocgns.exe executable and all libraries used by the translator. Typically, you can find the executable and libraries in the %UGII_BASE_DIR%\Simulation\PreSolver\bin directory.Note: You can also execute the converter from your own favorite folder if it contains the following files:ccmtocgns.exelibifcoremd.dlllibmmd.dll
