Export primitives or elements for radiation modeling

  1. With the Simcenter 3D Space Systems Thermal FEM or an associated Simulation file open, choose FileExportSimulation.

  2. In the Export dialog box, select Radiation Model from the File Type list.

  3. From the Radiation Model Type list, select one of the model types, depending on the destination solver.

  4. Depending on the radiation analysis program selected, define one or three file locations. Click Browse to navigate to the file location and name, or type the path and file name of the output file in the Output File box.Note: If you type only the file name in the Output File box, the software saves the file in the same directory as the FEM file.

  5. Click OK.
