Import Simulation Entities dialog box

Source Simulation
Select Part From the Loaded Parts list, select the simulation file you want to import. Or, click Browse next to Open and navigate to and select the simulation file.
String to prepend simulation entity names Specifies the prepend string for imported entity names. This string identifies the imported entities and ensures that there are no duplicate names.By default, the prepend string is the target simulation file name.
Entities to Import
Import All Entities Imports all entities associated with the previously selected simulation file.
Entity Type Select an entity type to import that entity into the target simulation file. Then, select the entities you want to import from the Entity List.Note: This option is only available if the Import All Entities option is not selected.
Source Solution Appears when Entity Type is set to Result Probe. Lets you select a solution that contains the result probe.
Target Solution Appears when Entity Type is set to Result Probe. Lets you select the target solution in which to import the result probe. Its type (for example, Thermal or Structural) should match the source solution. You can also select None. When you select None, the software does not import boundary conditions.
Enable Graphical Selection Select this option to choose entities from the modeling window instead of the Entity List.
Entity List Displays the entities associated with the simulation file and whether or not they are slated for import. Entities identified by a green checkmark are imported.Entities identified by red are not imported.
Boundary Condition ID Management
Specify Offset Optionally, specify a number to be added to the names of the boundary conditions as they are imported. The following is added to the imported boundary conditions:i+pwhere i is the index of the source boundary condition and p is the offset specified here.Note: This is only applicable to boundary conditions that have indices. For more information on this renumbering, see Renumbering of boundary conditions.
Advanced Options
Expression Conflict Resolution Specifies how the software resolves naming conflicts between expressions in the simulation entity that is being imported and existing expressions in the simulation.Keep ExistingReplace the formula of the expression in the simulation entity with the formula of the existing expression in the simulation. For this case, the dimensionality of both expressions must be the same. If they are not, the expression is imported using the Keep Both option.Keep ImportedReplace the formula of the existing expression in the simulation with the formula of the expression in the simulation entity. For this case, the dimensionality of both expressions must be the same. If they are not, the expression is imported using the Keep Both option.Keep BothRename the expression in the simulation entity so that a naming conflict no longer exists. The expression is renamed by appending a text string to the name. Specify the text string in the Suffix Key box.
Suffix Key box When Expression Conflict Resolution is set to Keep Both, specifies the text string that the software appends to the name of the expression in the simulation entity whose name conflicts with an existing expression.
