Temperature at initial time=0 seconds (Simcenter Samcef)

With the Temperature at t = 0 constraint, you impose the temperature that will be applied on the model during the computation of the initial configuration of a nonlinear or thermal analysis.

Where do I find it?

To define an initial temperature at time=0 seconds, do one of the following:

  • In the Simulation Navigator, right-click Constraint ContainerNew ConstraintTemperature at t = 0.

  • In the Simulation Navigator under a solution, right-click ConstraintsNew ConstraintTemperature at t = 0.

  • Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Temperature at t = 0 .

  • Select geometry. Right-click and choose Create ConstraintTemperature at t = 0.
