Create a layer

This example shows how to create a layer that you can use in the Multi-Layer Non-Uniform 2D mesh collector type.

See Create layer stacks for more information.

  1. Choose Home tab→Properties group→Modeling Objects .

  2. In the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box, from the Type list, select Layer.

  3. Click Create.

  4. In the Layer dialog box, specify the properties of the layer, such as material, thickness, and thermo-optical Properties. See Layer dialog box (Thermal/SST/ESC) for more information.

  5. Click OK.

  6. (Optional) To create additional layers, repeat steps 3 to 5.

  7. In the Modeling objects Manager dialog box, click OK.
