Manual load extraction

For the margin of safety calculation, you can specify whether the software uses results from the linear static solve or values that you manually enter.

To manually enter the values, use the Manual Input command to open the Manual Input dialog box.

From the Manual Input dialog box, you can:

• Enter values for the load for each load case.

• Assign units to the values.

• List all the load cases and values previously assigned to the manual load extraction in addition to those currently assigned to the manual load extraction.

• Export values to a browser window or a spreadsheet, and import values from a spreadsheet.To export or import values, in the Manual Input dialog box, right-click the heading of a column.

Caution:

After you manually enter the values and close the Manual Input dialog box, if you then redefine the load extraction with the Load Extraction command, the loads you manually entered are unrecoverable.

Note:

For custom methods with method aggregation, manual load extraction is not available.
