Remove a design variable from the optimization

This procedure shows how to remove a design variable from the optimization when you want to fix the value of the design variable for subsequent optimizations.

1. In the Simulation Navigator, select the Design Variables [#] node.

2. In the Correlation Details View subpanel, right-click one or more design variables and choose Fixed.

To add the removed design variables back in the optimization of the Model Update solution process, right-click one or more removed design variables and choose Free.
