Output File Units
Units Specifies the unit system for the data written to the output file.
Specify Temperature Unit Specifies the unit system for the temperature data written to the output file. When you select this check box, you can specify the unit system from the list.
Output File Name
Infer/User Defined Controls how name and path of the output file are determined. InferInfers the name and path of the output file relative to the Simulation file. If the location of the file changes, the software uses the stored relative path information to try to locate the file. For more information, see Relative path support for external files.User DefinedLets you specify the path and file name in which to store the output file.
File Name Available when User Defined is selected. Sets the name of the output file.Click Browse to specify the folder for the file.
Directory Available when User Defined is selected. Displays the folder in which to create the output file.
Formatting Options
Data Field Length Controls how floating point nodal field data is written to the output database file (.odb).SmallWrites the data in single precision format.LargeWrites the data in double precision format.
Apply Real Data Filter To All Real Values If any real values to be written to the input file are less than the value specified for Real Data Filter Value, the software writes these values out as 0.0.
Real Data Filter Value Available when the Apply Real Data Filter To All Real Values check box is selected.Sets the value to use to determine which data to write to the input file as 0.0.
Subset Export
Subset Export Controls whether you export your entire model or just portions of it.Full modelExports the entire modelVisible elementsExports only the elements that are currently displayed in the model.Selected groupsExports only the contents of the selected groups. In addition to exporting the contents of a selected group, the software also exports:All boundary conditions associated with the nodes or elements in the group. All nodes associated with the elements in the group, even if the nodes themselves are not included in the group.
Output Options
*Export all regions as SURFACE cards Controls how the software exports simulation regions. If you select this check box, all defined simulation regions are exported as *SURFACE keywords. If you clear this check box, only the simulation regions that are referenced by a boundary condition or simulation object are exported.
Export all groups to node and element sets When you export or solve your model, controls whether the software exports any groups in your model using the Abaqus *NSET and *ELSET commands. If you select this check box, the software exports the group data in your model to the Abaqus input file using the *NSET and *ELSET commands. If you clear this check box, the software does not export the group data in your model to the Abaqus input file.
Export all selection recipes to node and element sets Controls how the software exports selection recipes. If you select this check box, the software exports all defined selection recipes as *ELSET and *NSET keywords. If you clear this check box, the software does not export the selection recipes.
Model Data Specifies the type of entities to export to the output file.Select the check box for each entity that you want to export. You can also click Select All to select all of the check boxes, or click Deselect All to clear all of them.
