Create or modify a solution

Create a solution

1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the Simulation file and choose New Solution.

2. In the Solution dialog box, enter a name.

3. Choose the Solver, Analysis Type, and Solution Type.

4. Enter the solution options.These options vary depending on the solver, analysis type, and solution type.

5. Click Create Solution.

6. Click Close.

Edit solution options

1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click a solution name and choose Edit.

2. Modify the solution options.

3. Click OK.

Delete a solution

Right-click the solution name in the Simulation Navigator and choose Delete.

Rename a solution

Right-click the solution name in the Simulation Navigator and choose Rename. Enter a new name.

Make a copy of a solution

Right-click the solution name in the Simulation Navigator and choose Clone.

The copy includes the subcases, loads, constraints, and simulation objects.
