Create disjoint fluid mesh pairings
Define contact regions automatically
Show only fluid bodies.
Choose Disjoint Fluid Mesh Pairing .
In the Disjoint Fluid Mesh Pairing dialog box, from the Type list, select Automatic Pairing.
Click Create Face Pairs .
In the Create Automatic Face Pairs dialog box: (Optional) Select the Face Pair Search Subset entities.Select a Grouping Option. In the Distance Tolerance box, specify a value that represents the maximum distance between faces beyond which pairs are not detected.Preview the face pairs, and if necessary, modify the distance tolerance to generate more pairs or fewer pairs.Click OK.
(Optional) To associate the generated contact pairs with the automatic pair recipe, in the Disjoint Fluid Mesh Pairing dialog box, select Associate to Automatic Pair Recipe.
Click OK.
Define contact regions manually
Show only fluid bodies.
Choose Disjoint Fluid Mesh Pairing .
In the Disjoint Fluid Mesh Pairing dialog box, from the Type list, select Manual Pairing.
In the Primary Region group select a region or click Create Region to create one. The region must contain the primary polygon faces.
In the Secondary Region group select a region or click Create Region to create one. The region must contain the secondary polygon faces.
(Optional) To swap the primary and secondary regions, click Swap Regions .
Click OK.
