Select elements by group

1. On the scene toolbar, from the Method list, select Elements by Group.

2. Select an option from the Type Filter list.

3. If you selected No Selection Filter, select a group in the Simulation Navigator. The software selects all elements in that group.Alternatively, you can select an entity (such as Element, Point, Polygon Face, and so on). When you select that type of entity in the graphics window, the software selects all elements in the group that contains that entity. For example, if a group contains several elements and a face, and you select Polygon Face from the Type Filter list and then select that face in the graphics window, the software selects all elements in the group that contains that face.
