Create a fictitious support

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the static aeroelastic response solution node and choose Edit. The Solution dialog box opens.

  2. In the Solution dialog box, on the Bulk Data page, expand the DOF Sets group.

  3. Next to Fictitious Support (SUPORT), click New DOF Set .The DOF Set dialog box opens.

  4. In the DOF Set dialog box, use Select Object to select the node(s) you want to use to create the fictitious support.

  5. In the Degrees of Freedom group, select the degrees of freedom associated with the rigid body motion that you want to allow.

  6. Click OK in both dialog boxes.
