Ogden Material Definition dialog box
| Property View | |
|---|---|
| Select the Ogden material type you want to define. You can select the Samcef Ogden type, the Abaqus Ogden type, the ANSYS Ogden type, or the Simcenter Nastran Ogden MATHE type. | |
| Properties | |
| Mass Density (RHO) | Lets you define the material mass density. |
Samcef Ogden material
| The following pages appear when the Property View list is set to Samcef Ogden. | |
|---|---|
| Strain Energy page | |
| Number of Points (NTPS) | Lets you define the number of MU, Alpha, and D triplet coefficients you want to use for the Samcef Ogden law's equation. You can define up to 20 triplets. |
| Mu, Alpha, Di | For each line of the table, define the MU, Alpha and D coefficients of the equation. The MU and D coefficients can be constants or defined with a temperature dependent field. |
| Thermal page | |
| Temperature (TREF) | Lets you define the material Reference Temperature. For more information, see the TREF parameter of the Samcef Ogden material. |
| Thermal Expansion Coefficient (TEXP) | Lets you define the material's CTE.The CTE can be constant or defined with a temperature dependent field. For more information, see the A parameter of the Samcef Ogden material. |
For more information, see the Samcef Ogden material page.
