Thermal Material dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

Property View
From the Property View of an Isotropic material, select the Samcef Isotropic Thermal type to define a Samcef isotropic THERMAL material.From the Property View of an Orthotropic material, select the Samcef Orthotropic Thermal type to define a Samcef orthotropic THERMAL material.
Properties
Mass Density (RHO) Lets you define the material mass density.
Thermal or Thermal/Electrical page
Thermal is available in the Isotropic Material dialog box.Thermal/Electrical is available in the Orthotropic Material dialog box.
Specific Heat (CP) Lets you define the specific heat.The heat can be constant, or it can be temperature dependent.For more details, see the CAPA parameter in the thermal material page.
Thermal Conductivity (K) Lets you define the thermal principal conductivity.The conductivity can be constant, or it can be temperature dependent.For more details, see the COND parameter in the thermal material page.
Thermal Conductivity (K2), Thermal Conductivity (K3) Appears if the Property View list is set to Samcef Orthotropic Thermal.Lets you define the two other thermal conductivities required for an orthotropic material.The conductivities can be constant, or they can be temperature dependent.For more details, see the COND parameter in the thermal material page.
