Load Set (General)
Use a Load Set (General) to specify the structural loads for use in a Simcenter Nastran, MSC Nastran, or Simcenter 3D Multiphysics analysis.
You can specify the following types of static load sets:
Applied load
Enforced Motion
Enforced Acoustic Pressure
To add any structural load type other than enforced motion loads, bolt pre-loads, and enforced acoustic pressure, use the Applied Load type. You can add gravity to an Applied Load static load set; however, you cannot combine gravity with other types of loads in the same load set. Simcenter Nastran requires the load set identification number (SID) assigned to gravity loads to be unique and different from the SID assigned to all other loads.
To add only enforced motion loads, select the Enforced Motion type, and to add only enforced acoustic pressure, select the Enforced Acoustic Pressure type.
Corresponding Nastran Syntax
A Load Set (General) corresponds to the Simcenter Nastran LOAD case control command.
The Label field in the Load Set (General) dialog box assigns the SID for Simcenter Nastran.
Where do I find it?
