Define a Hart-Smith material

You can create materials only if the Allow Local Materials customer default is selected.

1. Make the FEM the work part and displayed part.

2. Choose Home tab→Properties group→Assign Materials or Manage Materials.

3. In the Material List group, select Local Materials.

4. In the New Material group, from the Type list, select Hart-Smith.

5. Click Create Material .

6. In the materials dialog box, in the Name - Description box, type a name for the material.

7. On the Mechanical tab, enter the following coefficients for the Hart-Smith law:For A, enter 2.33e-1 in units of N/mm^2(MPa).For B, enter 2.33 in units of N/mm^2(MPa).For C, enter 0.0266.For Compressibility Coefficient (BULK), enter 10 in units of N/mm^2(MPa).

8. Click OK.
