Assign a material using a mesh collector

This procedure describes how to assign a material to a physical property table that is used by a mesh collector.

  1. Ensure that the FEM is the work or displayed part.

  2. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click a mesh collector and choose Edit.

  3. In the Mesh Collector dialog box, make sure the appropriate physical property is selected in the Solid Property list.

  4. Click Edit .

  5. In the physical property dialog box, click Choose material .

  6. In the Material List dialog box, select a material from the Materials list.

  7. Click OK in all dialog boxes.
