Rotating nodes
Use Node Rotate to rotate selected nodes through an arc, about a selected point. For example, in the graphic below, in (A) we selected a group of nodes to rotate about a point. We then rotated those nodes 45°about the X axis about the point (B).
Options on the Node Rotate dialog box let you control whether the software simply rotates the selected nodes to a new location or copies and rotates the new nodes to a new location. If you choose to simply rotate the selected nodes, the software only changes the location of the nodes; the association between the nodes and their underlying geometry is preserved. However, if you choose to copy and rotate the nodes, the new nodes are not associated with the underlying geometry.
