Function Plots scenario
The Function Plots scenario is a general post-processing scenario that you can use to visualize different function plots (XY plot, color map, color bars, waterfall, bar chart display, Campbell plots, and so on). The available displays depend on the number of independent variables (such as time, frequency, and/or RPM) of the selected functions.
You can use the Function Plots scenario to view data such as:
Basic acoustic and structural results, including acoustic pressure, acoustic power, displacement, velocity, and acceleration
Advanced acoustic results, such as active acoustic power, panel or modal contribution to active acoustic power, panel averaged modal transfer vectors, beam tracing narrow band frequency response, and impulse responses from particle tracing computation.Example: The following shows overlaid color bar function plots of active acoustic power results. The top color bar uses the MicrophonePower | Acoustic Power (Active) response function to show the total power. The other three color bars use the MicrophonePower_Panels | Panel Contribution to Acoustic Power (Active) response function to show power contributed to three different panels.
Load recipesNote: If the load recipe contains complex data, XY plots show the magnitude. If the load recipe contains real data, all XY plots show the real values.
