Display settings for large models with 0D meshes
When you load, import, or append a model that contains 0D meshes, the default display settings for those meshes are as follows:
The Element Marker option is set to Hide.
The Display Text check box is cleared.
With settings, the software does not display the marker and associated text (the abbreviated element name) for the 0D elements in the model by default. However, the software still displays the 0D elements. These display settings can improve the performance when you load or import a FEM file that contains a large number of 0D meshes.
Note:
You can use options in the Mesh Display dialog box to turn on the display of element markers and text.
| 0D elements with marker and text display turned on | 0D elements with marker and text display turned off |

You can use the Part Load Element Display customer defaults to control the display of 0D mesh collectors in the Simulation Navigator when you import large models.
Select the Limit Display for Large Models check box to have the software turn off the display of 0D mesh collectors in the Simulation Navigator of the number of 0D elements exceeds a specified threshold.
Then, use the Maximum Number of Elements to Display option to specify the largest number of 0D elements to display when the software loads the part.
0D mesh collectors with the Limit Display for Large Models option selected and more 0D elements than the specified Maximum Number of Elements to Display option
