Define system cells

Create system cells

  1. Choose Home tab→Properties group→Modeling Objects . From the Type list, select System Cells, and then click Create.Alternatively, in the Solution dialog box, on the General page, click Create Modeling Object next to the System Cells list.

  2. Type a name and label for the system cells modeling object.

  3. Click the group containing the system cell that you want to add.See NASTRAN for a complete description of all system cells and valid values for each.

  4. Type a value or click Add to add the specified system cell to the NASTRAN statement when you solve the model.

  5. Repeat steps 3–4 for each system cell you want to add.

  6. Click OK.The system cells modeling object appears in the Selection list table in the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box, and in the list of defined solution parameter modeling objects for the System Cells option on the Solution dialog box.

Edit solution parameters

  1. Choose Home tab→Properties group→Modeling Objects . Select the object from the Selection list table and then click Edit .Alternatively, in the Solution dialog box, on the General page, click Edit next to the System Cells list.

  2. In the Specified Properties group, type a different value, or click Remove to remove the parameter.

  3. To add additional system cells, click the group containing the system cell that you want to add. Type a value or click Add for each system cell that you want to add.See NASTRAN for complete descriptions of all solution parameters and valid values for each.
