Model the spinning of selected elements

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Solid Motion Effects .

  2. In the Solid Motion Effects dialog box, from the Type list, select Spinning — Selected Elements.

  3. Select the elements or geometry which are spinning.

  4. In the Spinning Parameters group, do the following to define the axis about which the model spins:Specify the vector.Specify the point.

  5. In the Number of Calculations per Spin box, enter the number of calculations that you want the thermal solver to perform per spin.

  6. Click OK.
