3 Map the CGNS data from the CFD mesh to the acoustic mesh
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the solution process and choose Add Operation→Mesh Mapping.
(Optional) In the Mesh Mapping dialog box, in the Operation Name box, type the name that you want to appear in the Simulation Navigator for the mapped data.
Select the Transfer Data check box.
Click OK.
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click Mesh Mapping Data and choose Edit.In the graphics window, the FE or FEMAO mesh and the CFD mesh are displayed.Tip: If both meshes are not visible, use the Fit command.
(Optional) In the Mesh Mapping Data dialog box, in the Name box, type the name that you want to appear in the Simulation Navigator for the mesh mapping.
In the Mesh Mapping group, specify the mesh mapping options. For information on the mesh mapping options, see Mesh Mapping Data dialog box.
In the graphics window, select the portion of the mesh contained in the CGNS file that you want to use in the mapping of the CFD results to the FE or FEMAO mesh.
In the Transfer To group, click Model Entities.
In the Transfer To group, click Select Model .
In the graphics window, select the portion of the FE or FEMAO mesh to which you want to map the CFD results.
Click OK.
(Optional) To add a second mesh mapping, in the Simulation Navigator, right-click the mapped data name node and choose Add Mesh Mapping Data. Then repeat steps 6 through 12.Special rules apply when you use multiple mesh mappings. For more information, see Defining acoustic properties of fluids with CFD results.
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the solution process and choose Solve.
Click OK.The Information window displays the path to the SCH5 result file.
To close the Information window, click Close .
