Import solution results

Use the following steps to import results into a new solution associated with your Simulation.

1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the Simulation node and select Import Results.

2. Click File Open to navigate to and select the results file.

3. (Optional) Enter a name for the imported solution results. The imported solution name defaults to the results file name.

4. Review the results units. If necessary, click Change and select new units from the Imported Result Units dialog box.

5. If the elements and nodes in the imported results match the elements and nodes in the loaded CAE model, select the Pre-Processing Groups and Meshes are Valid in Post check box. You can then access the groups and meshes in the model when post-processing imported solution results.

6. Click OK. The software create a new solution, containing the imported model data and the associated results.
